Check out our new “Den”!

Photos of the largest common room in our new living space:

I’ve begun to really like it here. It’s perfect for us in our transitional time between preparing to live off-grid, building the earth bag home, and actually moving in to live there permanently. My favorite aspect of this space is the spiral staircase, well-lit by windows and wrapped in vines from our plants. The floor looks like water – it’s a sort of hazy blue that’s variable throughout the room. Half the room is lime green, half is white, and the ceiling is black with some more black painted in a stripe around the staircase. It’s a work in progress, we’re told.

I love sitting at the top of the stairs and drinking tea among the vines. 🙂
