Cookies = $20 to National Wildlife Federation!

Goal [Almost] Achieved!

We’ve [almost] raised enough funds to certify my apartment community as wildlife habitat! (See an update on cookie sales here) So I went ahead and paid the fee already.  I just couldn’t wait!  The $20 certification fee also covers the cost of a one-year subscription to National Wildlife, which will be circulated via the apartment’s FreeCycle table to others who live in my apartment building, encouraging more people to create backyard habitat on their patios or balconies.

This is the sign that designates certified habitat.
