Quest for a Homestead: Tiled Homes

I had no idea floors, bathrooms, sinks and walls would look better tiled.

Growing up with plastic tiles which would break or chip and feel artificial, I was shocked when I visited this home in Madison County with Quinn. Her friends (I’ll insert their names here if they are ok with that) are artists and have been using this style for years. It certainly inspired me to look at tiling as a gorgeous option for our homestead – it felt close, somehow, to the earth. It felt right.
