Tiny House is Traveling to Arkansas!

We’re Ready to Go Off-Grid!

Our off-grid tiny house on wheels left Vancouver, Washington, Sunday July 15, 2018, and is headed to Arkansas! Backcountry Tiny Homes has done a beautiful job, just look! It’s a bright, warm, natural feel. Ryan and I are super busy this week preparing for the home’s delivery, but wanted to at least share some photos in between packing, clearing low-hanging branches from the lane, mowing, and administrative tasks. During pauses to eat and rest, this bizarre feeling overtakes us. We’re nervous and excited, sure, and it’s also unreal that our efforts since September of 2011 are about to pay off…off-grid, that is. It’s amazing we’re this close to that moment. It’s taken us so long that most people who loosely follow us think we’ve been off-grid for years now, but nope. First house as a married couple, first time living off-grid.
