The Elusive Skink

Attempting to photograph a lightning-quick lizard!

So far, I haven’t been able to get a picture of the entire body, but I did capture one with just the head…can you see it hiding?  I’m going out again today to try to get more photos.  If I’m successful, I’ll post ‘um here!  Until then, here are some great skink facts from Wikipedia.  They’re gorgeous, graceful and colorful creatures.  I’ve seen stripes, rainbows, blue tails and terrific camouflage immitating a brownish gray rotting stump.

After research, this is likely a fence lizard.
